All horse lovers are suggested to explore the fantastic landscape in Merano and surroundings from the horseback. Around Naturno there are a lot of riding facilities where one can book ordinary riding hours to discover the nature. Various riding stables also offer guided trail riding or pony riding tours, as well as single- and group courses.
Moreover we would recommend an excursion to the homeland of the Haflinger Horses, the little village Avelengo near Merano, or a visit at one of the exciting horse-races at the racecourse of Merano.
