Juval Castle

"Reinhold Messners" vision is to "preserve and respect the nature and culture of the mountains" and he has done just that on this historic mountain site where vineyards flourish against a background of majestic glaciers and where Juval holds a special place in this land of many castles.

Juval has been carefully restored to its former glory and nature, culture and tourism all flourish here, side by side. The castle`s owner, famous climber and expedition leader, Reinhold Messner, explains that he is trying to give back a little happiness and peace - what the tibetans call "tashi delek" - to the mountains and to their inhabitants. A visit to the castle is a real adventure!
